Olivia Rodrigo made an unannounced appearance at Primavera Sound 2026 in Barcelona on Saturday night, giving fans a compact set that mixed familiar hits with new material. Rodrigo confirmed the surprise shortly before taking the stage, turning a rumored festival moment into one of the night’s most visible pop performances.
Festival materials placed the set on the Occident stage, where Rodrigo performed songs from SOUR and GUTS alongside newer tracks tied to her next release. The biggest moment came when Robert Smith of The Cure joined her for the live debut of What’s Wrong With Me, a new collaboration from her upcoming third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, due June 12.
The set also included bad idea right?, ballad of a homeschooled girl, vampire, drivers license, traitor, deja vu, and all-american bitch. The appearance marked Rodrigo’s return to a major European festival stage after her GUTS tour run.
